Lawrence Richards takes a peek behind the scenes at the Royal Opera House as it mounts Richard Wagner’s epic Ring Cycle.

Directed by Keith Warner, designed by Stefan Lazaridis and conducted by Antonio Pappano, the cast includes John Treleaven as Siegfried, Sir John Tomlinson as Wotan and Lisa Gasteen as Brunnhilde.
