<p>Very little footage of Vishnevskaya survives as much of it was destroyed when she and her husband <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rostropovich">Mtislav Rostropovich</a> (the cellist) were sent into exile for harbouring the author and political refugee <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleksandr_Solzhenitsyn">Alexander Solzhenitsyn</a>.</p>
